Hannah Gadsby’s Oz, a three-part TV series written and directed by Flinders University graduate Matthew Bate, begins tonight at 10pm on ABC1.

The series is the latest project from Closer Productions, the Adelaide based collective of film makers which includes several former Flinders students.
Presented by the comedian and writer Hannah Gadsby, it takes a fresh look at Australian art, and introduces some artists challenging convention and offering a different perspective on Australia’s national story.
