It was a week of sombre news and difficult weather, as South Australia faced soaring temperatures.

What cranked up the heat this week, and what can extreme heat do to the body? We spent a sweaty day among the ‘refugees’ escaping the extreme heat at Marion shopping centre. South Australians were urged to look out for each other in the hazardous conditions – and we did.
