Balaklava Cup runner-up Detox returns to Adelaide racing this weekend in the 1950 metre Haigh’s Cup.

Detox embarked on a Melbourne campaign after the Balaklava run last September.

The six year old mare’s best result was a five length fifth to Sertorius in the Group Two Zipping Classic at Caulfield two weeks ago.

That form should be more than enough to shake off the field tomorrow with Umatic and Tristacat the best of the bunch.

Matthew Neilson is back in the saddle for south coast trainer Jake Stephens.

Umatic’s connections are looking to go one better after its last start second in the Basllarat Spring Cup.

Morphettville starts to take on a festive air from tomorrow with two Saturday meetings leading up to the Christmas Twilight meeting on Friday the 20th of December.

This year’s packages include a Ladies High Tea, hosted by South Australian Jockey Club Board Members Bodelle Francis-Lee and Olivia Nunn.

The High Tea raises funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
