Photographer Michael Errey was highly commended in the best sports photograph section for his stunning image of Sturt players Richard Tambling and Tim McIntyre in the late afternoon sun at Unley Oval.
Senior InDaily journalist Kevin Naughton was commended in the Scoop of the Year category, for his exclusive story on former Prime Minister Julia Gillard buying a home in Adelaide.
In other categories, veteran former ABC and Channel 10 journalist Grant Heading received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his long and highly respected career.
Channel 7’s Mark Mooney won the Gold Award for his exclusive reports on the treatment of two men by SA Police in Whitmore Square.
