Supporting Revival

Nov 07, 2013, updated May 12, 2025

There’s no doubt that South Australia is a great place to live. BankSA knows that and helping South Australians grow their savings and buy their first homes has been a priority since the bank’s establishment more than 160 years ago.

In line with our desire to back the South Australian community in a variety of ways, BankSA also likes to support grass-roots community events and supporting Renewal SA’s 2013 Playford Alive Community Fun Day on Saturday, November 16.

This month’s Fun Day is set to rock with a headline performance by popular hip-hop group, Justice Crew, winners of the 2010 series of Australia’s Got Talent.

The annual event is celebrating its tenth year in 2013 with family-friendly activities including free rides, local musicians, face painting, temporary tattoos, great food and drink vendors and a visit from Santa Claus.

A wide range of local organisations and school groups from the Playford Alive project area will be represented on the day as well as the Neighbourhood Policing Team and players from Central District Football Club.

The Community Fun Day is a highlight of the local calendar, with last year’s event drawing a crowd of almost 5000 spectators.

It’s a great chance to see just how far the northern area renewal project has come in recent years and the event is a partnership between Renewal SA, City of Playford and Imagine Peachey.

The event runs from 10am – 3pm and will be held at the corner of Curtis and Coventry roads, Munno Para Wetlands.

Renewal SA aims to ensure that via the best in design and integrated planning, it helps to deliver vibrant, connected and sustainable communities.

Stay informed, daily

Where future residential developments are concerned Renewal SA will facilitate “ready to live” neighbourhoods serviced by all the necessary social and physical infrastructure such as schools, open space and public transport.
