Kangaroo Island’s newest tour is set to be a memorable gastronomic experience.
Launching their Farmers Market Tour and Cooking Class experience, Kangaroo Island Source is helping island visitors discover more of Kangaroo Island’s delicious and fresh local produce.
Joining well-known local Chef Kate Sumner, the tour includes the Kangaroo Island Farmers Market followed by a cooking class at Kangaroo Island Source headquarters.

Visitors will experience the popular farmers market and see local farmers, growers, home gardeners and a range of artisan producers together as well as enjoying special tastings and hand-selecting ingredients for the cooking class.
Taking the freshly hand-picked selection of ingredients to the stunning Kangaroo Island Source kitchen, guests will learn the tricks of Kate’s trade and get hands-on preparing a gourmet lunch.
The best part? After all their hard work, guests can sit back, relax and enjoy their lunch overlooking picturesque Penneshaw with a local wine or cider.
