The Hawke Centre is delighted to again partner with the Adelaide Film Festival, this time in an insightful session with award-winning Australian director and cinematographer Warwick Thornton (Samson & Delilah).
Margaret Pomeranz, co-presenter of ABC TV’s At the Movies, will explore with Thornton the sources of his inspiration, the vision he has for his work, the ideas that get him going and the way his career has evolved.
Thornton’s new film The Darkside is also showing at the Adelaide Film Festival – an intriguing hybrid feature, that assembles a collection of poignant, sad, funny and absurd true ghost tales from across Australia and brings them to life with some of Australia’s most iconic actors as the storytellers.
Warwick Thornton, in conversation with Margaret Pomeranz is jointly presented by the Hawke Centre and the Adelaide Film Festival. This session will be chaired by the Hawke Centre’s Director, Elizabeth Ho OAM.
