The Hawke Centre is delighted to again partner with the Adelaide Film Festival and the Adelaide Festival of Ideas to present a new film and a number of thought provoking discussion sessions, including the Australian premiere of East Timor’s first feature film: Beatriz’s War.
An epic spanning the 24-year period of Indonesian occupation Beatriz’s War follows the story of one woman’s struggle to remain true to the man she loves and the country for which she has fought.
