South Australia captured through the eyes of local festival goers!

How do you explain the concept of Mad March in Adelaide, South Australia to someone who has never experienced it before?

Four major festivals bundled into a month full of frivolity and fun in Australia’s festival capital. Arts events running in parallel with a V8 car race; street performers set amongst street parties; comedy acts next door to cabaret shows; and opera across the road from open air theatre. There are pop-up bars, pop-up venues, pop-up food vans and pop-up performances.

It’s almost too difficult to explain – so we made a film about it, using Adelaide festival goers as the on-the-ground film crew.

To capture the madness of March, passionate local festival goers snapped 10 second videos of their South Australian Mad March festival experiences, which have been turned into this film. A film that captures all of the eclectic, diverse, fun and fantastic action from a month of Australia’s biggest festivals, in a city that doesn’t sleep.
