Private training group, the Australian Institute of Management (AIM)  has appointed its new chief executive, former Employers Mutual Limited operations manager Greg Connor.

Connor is a former board member of AIM SA and was admitted as a Life Member in 2011.

“Previously General Manager of operations in SA for Employers Mutual Ltd, and CEO of Savings & Loans Credit Union, he brings a broad range of skills and experience to the role,” AIM said in a statement today.

“His first priority is “for us to get out there and be loud and proud about the quality of our courses and to enhance the member benefit.”

Employers Mutual Limited is a claims management company specialising in workers’ compensation.

The AIM position became vacant at the end of July when incumbent John Stokes resigned to take up the top job at the Master Builders Association.

Stokes replaced Rob Stewart who retired at the end of July after 19 years at the helm of the MBA.
