PhD students from Flinders University have battled against the clock – and their peers – to pitch a compelling oration on their thesis topic in under three minutes using simple, user-friendly language.

Held in August, the annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition saw eight Flinders students vying for a $2000 cash prize, and the chance to represent Flinders at the Trans-Tasman Three Minute Thesis final in Sydney next month.
