Coopers lands one in Sydney

The Cooper’s family has opened another pub – this time right inside Sydney Airport.

Officially opened yesterday, it is the second Coopers Alehouse to be located at an airport, with the first being based at Adelaide Airport.

It will sell Coopers products exclusively.

Coopers Brewery Chairman Glenn Cooper said the brand exposure will be boosted by the location inside Australia’s busiest airport terminal.

“The first Coopers Alehouse at Adelaide Airport has been operating successfully since it opened,” Cooper said.

“We saw this as a fantastic opportunity to put the Coopers name in front of vast numbers of travellers from all over the country,” Cooper said.

“Now with the opening of our second Alehouse, we are currently considering similar future projects.

“This is an exciting development.”
