Targa establishes Stirling spectator zone

Aug 20, 2013, updated May 09, 2025

Saturday 24 August is set to have the Adelaide Hills Village of Stirling alive and buzzing, with the fourth day of the Targa Adelaide Rally being completed in the neighbouring surrounds. This will give spectators the perfect opportunity to see the Targa competition cars at full throttle and also get up-close and meet the drivers.

The Stirling Targa lunch stop (12.30pm – 1.30pm) will commence after the competitors complete the Stirling Stage just 1 kilometre away. After the lunch stop, competitors will go and tackle the course backwards again. This will be the perfect opportunity for spectators to watch the race, see the cars and drivers and then watch them compete at full-noise again!

There are plenty of options for lunch in Stirling, so why not make a day of it with the family?!
