Minlaton Chocolaterie creates and serves a taste sensation in the heart of Minlaton. The chocolatiers specialise in using the tastes of the region to flavour their chocolates.

After taking a holiday on Yorke Peninsula and loving the region so much, Leanne and José Milhano decided to move here. That was some 13 years ago and today they still love living their holiday!

After years living among some of the world’s best chocolateries in Paris and with a passion for chocolate made in the tradition of the finest European chocolates, their unique blends are rich, creamy and full of flavour. They have a range of white, milk, dark and bitter dark chocolates.

The fruits used in the chocolates, are supplied from Leanne and José miniature orchard that includes Apricots, Peaches, Nectarines, Limes, Oranges, Lemons, Figs and Almonds. Plums, Mulberry, Pear and Apple trees have recently been added to the orchard.

Located in a cropping region where bees are kept in strategic locations on the farms to increase pollination of plants and produce larger crop yields, honey harvested from the bees is added to the chocolates giving a delicious sweetness to many of the products.

The chocolate range changes with seasonal availability. Delicious hot chocolate made with molten Belgian chocolate and barista perfected coffee are served to accompany the chocolate selection.

The multi award winning Minlaton Chocolaterie’s mission is to make and serve only ‘the most delicious products’.
