Targa Rally Night Stage Set To Explode

Aug 15, 2013, updated May 09, 2025

Once again, the Intercontinental Targa Night Stage is set to have the Wayville Showgrounds bulging at the seams! 2012 saw 23,000 people pass through the gates to watch the prologue to the first round of the Australian Targa Championship. Visitors have the opportunity to get up-close to the over 200 competition cars and 100 classic cars in the Classic Car Display.

This year, Targa has plans to make the event even bigger and better with double the viewing space to watch the cars do battle, more food, fireworks and a fire-breathing, giant-fireball machine shooting flames 40feet into the air! This is set to really warm the night up and get everyone excited!

Tickets can be purchased online for $15 adults, $5 children and children under 5 FREE! Gates open at 6pm, Wednesday 21st August 2013. Be sure to get in early to avoid disappointment! Visit www.targa.com.au for more information and bookings.
