The 2014 Santos Tour Down Under will see Stage 1 return to the town of Nuriootpa for the first time since the race’s inception in 1999, including the gruelling Menglers Hill climb just 14 kilometres from the finish line at Angaston. The 2014 course will test sprinters, climbers and all rounders. Next January, the peloton will again hit the streets, venturing to new routes that take in some of the state’s most stunning landscapes. Tough climbs, blistering sprints and nail-biting fights to the finish are assured as riders battle for the coveted Santos Ochre Leaders Jersey.
