The Grange Road tattoo studio is looking for an apprentice with an art background, proven ability to draw and solid portfolio. This role is only available to someone aged 18 or above. Australian Electoral Commission

The AEC is looking for paid workers to help deliver the next federal election, which will happen by May 2025. It’s specifically looking for people in three of SA’s largest electorates: Grey (which includes the Eyre Peninsula and Roxby Downs regions), Spence (including Edinburgh, Elizabeth and Salisbury) and Barker (including Bordertown and Mt Gambier).

Jobs up for grabs are casual, including working polling booths on the day or roles for up to seven weeks of the full election campaign period. To apply, register your interest via the AEC website.


Bank Street Social

Bank Street Social is looking for a cocktail bartender to join their team and create great cocktails while delivering smooth banter and sharp service. The role requires experience making cocktails and experience with local craft beer and wine. They’re after someone with a great attitude and fast-paced club service experience, with 20-30 hours up for grabs, starting immediately.

Carclew

Youth arts and creativity hub Carclew are currently recruiting for two positions: a communications and marketing manager and a graphic design and marketing coordinator.

Fencesitter

Local jewellery label Fencesitter by creative Heather McNab, is after a market stall manager and workshop host to join their team. The manager role oversees its Adelaide market stalls at Gilles at the Grounds and XChange markets and public and private workshops. Hours and responsibilities will vary week-to-week, though there are usually three markets per month and two to six workshops. There’s also a more casual position working shifts at Fencesitter’s Adelaide-based market stalls involving setting up, styling and packing down stalls and chatting to customers, making sales.

Gluttony

The East End Fringe hub is recruiting for its 2025 bars team, with roles including bar staff, baristas, bar supervisors, wine and cocktail experts and floor crew. Located at Rymill Park / Murlawirrapurka, Gluttony has over 13 bars that serve crowds between Fringe shows with everything from coffees to specialty cocktails.

Helpmann Academy

Helpmann Academy, an organisation supporting emerging artists in performing and visual arts, is hiring a communications and marketing manager. The role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for building brand awareness, delivering campaigns and promoting funding and professional development opportunities. It’s a full-time role with out-of-hours work on weekends and evenings required and offered on a 12-month contract beginning in January 2025.

LIV GOLF

The third edition of LIV Golf needs event staff to work their three merchandise tents for the sporting weekend. They’re looking for staff with retail or food and beverage experience who have great customer service skills and can organise merchandise and lift boxes.

LIV Golf is held at Grange Golf Club and shifts require flexible availability between 7am and 7pm from February 12 to February 18. To apply you must be 18 years or older. Apply via Seek, through SMAART Recruitment.

Located in the Botanic Gardens, the National Wine Centre is the home of wine tourism and events in Adelaide with its Wined Bar providing food, coffee and wine (duh) to visitors. It’s open 7 days and has a full-time chef role up for grabs. An emerging producer intern position, shared between State Opera South Australia and Country Arts SA and supported by funding through Creative Australia, is now open. The team is looking for someone who wants to start a career in the arts and cultural identities. This paid internship program is a two-year contract and is best suited to someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build skills and experiences in the key areas of performing arts and opera production.

Unlike most hospo places that are open all weekend long, this position only requires you to work Monday to Friday from approximately 6am until 1:30pm. They’re looking for someone bubbly, hard-working and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
