The Oddities and Curiosities Expo, founded in Oklahoma, is returning to Adelaide for its third year on Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16.

The travelling showcase brings together vendors and artists from across the country, with stalls featuring taxidermy, preserved animal specimens, original horror and Halloween-inspired artwork, antiques, handcrafted oddities, skulls, bones, and funeral collectibles. The expo also offers tarot readings and sideshow performances.

Co-founder Michelle Cozzaglio says her team are excited to return.

“It has been an amazing experience to see the odd community grow and come together to support unusual artists all across the country,” Michelle says.

“We have met so many amazing people within the Australian oddities community, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together once again.”

For those wanting a hands-on experience, a number of workshops are running, including taxidermy classes with The Sleeping Sirens and entomology classes with Violet Eyes Entomology.

The organisers note all animals used in workshops and displayed at the expo are ethically sourced and died of natural causes.
