Subvert presents Tunisia’s Azu Tiwaline and London’s Al Wootton at Ancient World on Sunday, January 12. Azu Tiwaline creates deep dub techno sounds and psychedelic flourishes while heavyweight producer and DJ Al Wootton explores the intersection of live sound and sound system culture with a focus on the dancefloor.
This is the first time the two have been hosted on Kaurna land, but if you’ve been to a Subvert party before then you’ve heard their tracks. Local support from Skorpion King and Medea will open the evening at 6pm.
Tickets are available via Humanitix for $25 or $35 at the door. The venue specifies no photos and no filming, because “our dancefloor is for dancing”.
