Crime authors Georgia Harper and Mercedes Mercier are touring South Australia to celebrate their new novels, Dove and The Couples Retreat.
The two authors will visit five locations across the state in late April, starting at Mount Barker Library on Tuesday, April 28 for a session dubbed “Sisters in Crime”. They will visit Ngutungka West Lakes and Aldinga Library on Wednesday, April 29, before finishing with two events on Thursday, April 30 – first “Crime at Lunch Time” Clare Town Hall and then a visit to One More Page in Kadina.
Mercedes is a South Australian crime author who has worked in the criminal justice system for more than a decade. Her book The Couples Retreat is set on Kangaroo Island.
Georgia is a Queensland author of Dove and the award-winning debut What I Would Do to You. Georgia has worked as a psychologist with both serious violent offenders and victim-survivors of crime.
The crime writing duo’s book tour of SA is organised by Penguin Random House, and details of individual sessions are available via Eventbrite.
