Science Alive! is Australia’s largest interactive science exhibition, returning to the Adelaide Showground on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3.
The family-friendly event features over 80 interactive exhibits, live shows, and new technology. A new addition this year is Dome360, Adelaide’s first immersive 360-degree projection dome, which will showcase science and space content. TV science communicator Nitro Nat will host explosive live shows, including experimenting with exploding elephant toothpaste. There will also be live Robot Wars battles, virtual reality experiences, and drone flying displays.
A range of leading institutions will have hands-on exhibits, including OzHarvest, the SA Museum, Lockheed Martin Australia, and the Adelaide Crows. Topics covered range from food sustainability and tech innovation to environmental discovery and the science of sport.
