Food, glorious food! The City of Port Adelaide Enfield was made for global flavours and delicious dining opportunities. From Turkish flatbreads to African and middle eastern curries, and spicy Vietnamese pho, our food businesses reflect the diversity of the people who live and work in PAE. In 2025, there were a total of 1,190 registered food businesses in PAE – a 30% increase from 2015.
The next City of PAE business event is especially for all the hospitality business operators based across Port Adelaide Enfield. If you own, operate or manage one of the many restaurants, pubs, takeaway businesses, distilleries, breweries and home-based food and beverage businesses in the area, you’re invited!
This session will help you look beyond simply “doing more marketing” and think more strategically about where to focus your time, money and effort, while understanding the key compliance requirements that apply to your hospitality business. Council’s Environmental Health team will also give practical advice on food safety best practices and answer your questions about running a food business.
It’s happening on Wednesday 23 September, at the British Hotel in Port Adelaide.
