Pinot in the Pavilion

Beresford Wines is lifting the lid on their new 2024 Emblem Pinot Noir, a cool-climate drop crafted from Adelaide Hills fruit. To mark the release, Beresford is throwing a one-day tasting experience called “Pinot in the Pavilion” at its McLaren Vale estate.

Winemaker Chad Smith says that “South Australia is home to some of the most expressive wine regions in the country,” and that “This Pinot is our effort to showcase the region’s diversity — a typical cool climate fruit-driven wine, designed to be shared and celebrated.”

You can pop along on Saturday, September 13 to enjoy an afternoon of wine, food, and live music on the lawn. Guests can expect blind Pinot tastings from across the globe, an aroma lab for flavour exploration, and Pinot and chocolate pairings. There will also be Pinot Margaritas and Pinot Strawberry Crush slushies on offer. For an additional cost, you can get a Pinot and pasta dish from Beresford’s Little Italian Ristorante.

Chad Smith notes, “It’s a celebration of our new wine, and the incredible wine culture we have here in SA.” He adds that it is “going to be a great day in the Vale.” Tickets are fifteen dollars, available online.
