UniBar ADL is throwing a Halloween Ball on Friday, October 31, with a pay-what-you-can ticket model. 

The lineup features Melbourne’s Sex Mask, alongside local acts Colourblind, Greasy and Normal Behaviour. The show will also double as the Adelaide launch of Greasy’s new single, ‘Be Just Fine’.

The scaled pricing structure is an initiative from the venue and General Admission Entertainment to make live music more accessible.

While tickets start at $1 plus the booking fee, there are also ticket tiers at $50 and $100 that come with perks like jugs of beer and UniBar T-shirts for those who can afford to chip in a bit more.

The organisers say they hope the model will allow more people to see gigs while ensuring artists and venue staff are still paid fairly.
