Adelaide’s spring festival of contemporary Asian arts and culture, OzAsia Festival, returns from October 17 to November 9.
This year’s festival offers a vibrant mix of music, theatre, dance, comedy and community celebrations. Festival-goers can follow the Hong Kong Dragon and explore the Moon Lantern Trail along the banks of Karrawirra Parri/River Torrens. A new addition for 2025 is the Moon Garden, a free, family-friendly space featuring workshops, performances and creative play.
The program includes international premieres such as Elsewhere in India, an audiovisual concert from Bangalore, LauZone, a Cantonese cabaret from Hong Kong artists Anna Lo and Rick Lau, and Searching Blue, an outdoor dance work by Singapore’s T.H.E Dance Company. The Lucky Dumpling Market will also be back, offering delicious food and further contributing to the festival’s atmosphere of light, sound and celebration.
