ADT brings the best in Australian dance. Featuring works inspired by The Sims, that stage encounter between an dancers and a composer from 1823, that see dancers summon the power of the natural landscape and even a solo performance that seeks to resurrect a thylacine, ORBIT gives audiences access to works from at artists at the vanguard of Australian performance.

Presented in two double bills over two weeks at The Odeon, ORBIT is a vibrant and enthralling cross-section of choreography that is furiously fun, inventive and ambitious. Lock in and be launched into the stratosphere with works from Jo Lloyd, Amy Zhang, Keia McGrady and SA’s very own Gabrielle Nankivell.

Created in association with Sydney Dance Company and Dancehouse, ORBIT brings Adelaide audiences face to face with art that otherwise wouldn’t tour here. It’s a chance to experience works that are changing the game, shifting paradigms and shaking audiences around the country to their core.
