From raised and wicking beds to espaliered fruit trees, irrigation systems and clever ways to deal with pests, these are real gardens with real solutions — and plenty of lessons you can take home. Throughout the weekend you’ll find talks and demonstrations on composting, sustainable gardening, and caring for chooks, all led by people who have been doing this for years. Funds raised support Food on the Table, helping provide free, nutritious meals to South Australians in need. Many participating gardeners even donate their surplus fruit to local charities — a wonderful reminder of how growing food can strengthen communities.
