Lolly Jar Circus Inclusive Disco

South Australia’s only inclusive social circus, Lolly Jar Circus, is throwing a free disco on September 19. This event creates a welcoming space for children and young people of all abilities to build confidence and friendship through an evening of fun.

Lolly Jar Circus is a not-for-profit organisation that uses circus skills as a social tool to promote inclusion and personal strength for young people, including those with disability or at social risk. Their regular programming includes activities like tumbling, hula hooping and trapeze, all modified to suit individual skill levels in a non-competitive environment.

The inclusive disco will be held at the Estonian Hall in North Adelaide and is split into two sessions. The first, from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm, is for five to 11-year-olds, while the second session for 12 to 26-year-olds runs from 7:15 pm until 9:15 pm.

There will be pizza, drinks and dancing, with each guest receiving a twirling ribbon to take home. It’s also an opportunity for parents and carers to connect. Bookings are essential and must be made by September 12.
