Inspired by Homer’s Iliad, King Odysseus is a large-scale mythic stage production presented by Thespis Studios. Featuring a 15-member ensemble cast, heightened verse, original score, stylised choreography, and projection design inspired by ancient Greek art, the production revives a long-forgotten form of storytelling for modern audiences.
Told through the perspective of Odysseus rather than Achilles, the play explores the psychological and moral cost of war, asking timeless questions about fate, glory, endurance, and what it means to survive.
In an age dominated by short-form entertainment and fractured attention spans, King Odysseus aims to bring audiences back to communal storytelling, theatrical ritual, and stories that demand reflection rather than distraction.
