Kick off race weekend by supporting local businesses on Hutt Street at their Pit Stop Party this Thursday November 14 from 4pm onwards.

This weekend ADL500 is taking over the city, but it’s business as usual on Hutt Street despite the road closures slowing down city commuters. Avid CityMag readers will know there’s plenty to do on Hutt Street, and they’re revving up the activities this Thursday with car displays, music, talks with racers, and plenty to eat from local vendors.

Sporting Car Club of SA will have an interactive display of vintage and contemporary race cars, showing off the rich history of motorsport. Drivers including Matt Payne, Richie Stanaway, James Golding and Aaron Love are slated to make an appearance on stage for a chat.

Numeric Plates SA will open their online auction at the party, allowing punters to bid on unique, collectible plates while enjoying the festivities.

Hutt Street is open throughout the race weekend, so it’s the no-brainer pit stop to support local nearby.

The Havelock Hotel is offering $15 BLTs and Brekky Burgers and $12 Mimosas & Bloody Marys from Thursday – Sunday to celebrate.

Sofia, the latest bistro from the minds behind Part Time Lover, is located on turn 7, the corner of Hutt Street and East Terrace and will serve up signature dishes, unlimited drinks and trackside thrills all weekend. Wander down to see what else Hutt Street traders have in store.
