The Arkaba Hotel is hosting an exclusive wine event with iconic South Australian winery, Henschke, offering a rare opportunity for guests to enjoy a curated six-course menu perfectly matched with six premium Henschke wines.
For one night only on Thursday 30 July, guests will enjoy an intimate dining experience that highlights the rich history, craftsmanship, and world-renowned reputation behind the Henschke name, as they hear from a member of the Henschke family, who have been making wine for over 150 years in the Barossa’s Eden Valley.
Chief Winemaker and Managing Director, Stephen Henschke, and Viticulturist, Prue Henschke, have long been regarded as leaders in the industry, bringing a thoughtful, deeply rooted approach to sustainable winegrowing across the estate’s cherished sites. The sixth-generation, family-run winery was also the only Australian vineyard featured on the 2025 World’s 50 Best Vineyards list.
Among the wines on offer, guests will have the exciting opportunity to taste the celebrated 2022 Mount Edelstone Shiraz – the 70th anniversary release of one of Australia’s most iconic single-vineyard wines. Officially rated an “exceptional” vintage by Henschke and awarded up to 98 points by leading wine critics, the wine is already being recognised for its elegance, balance, and remarkable cellaring potential.
