Gunson Street Party is back, transforming the city laneway into a vibrant strip of live music, makers, street food and glowing festoon lights.

Taking over Gunson Street on Friday 30 October from 4pm to 9pm, the free event brings together local businesses, artists, musicians and food operators for a one-night-only celebration just a stone’s throw from Pulteney Street.

The music line-up features Trav Collins, Solomon & Naomi, Leni and Nahlla, with free Latin dance lessons at sunset to get the street moving.

Explore artists and market stalls from The Mill, discover local records and merch at Interim Studios, or step inside Mindshift’s Mini Escape Room.

Come hungry, with Mexican bites, paella, burgers, fish and frozen treats on offer, while Somewhere House pours drinks throughout the evening.

Brought to life with the colour and celebration of Día de los Muertos, Gunson Street Party is an easy after-work stop and a chance to experience the local businesses and creatives of this city pocket at its most alive.
