Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers (SRD) in the Barossa has unveiled a new winter indulgence experience, available from June to August. For a limited time, their Gin and Chocolate Tasting Experience offers a fireside pairing designed to entice people to slow down and savour gin and chocolate.

The experience pairs four of SRD’s gins with handcrafted, small-batch chocolates from regional artisan chocolatier Peter M.

“Winter is the perfect time to slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures…in our case, the simple pleasure is gin and chocolate,” SRD head of customer experience, Bec Henderson, says.

She says that while wine and chocolate tastings are common, “after trying Peter’s chocolates, we knew it was an opportunity to create something special, and seriously delicious”.

“The flavour profiles work beautifully with our gins,” she says. 

Pairings include the House Gin with Raspberry and Bergamot chocolate, and the Barossa Semi Gin with Spanish Orange chocolate. The $35 experience includes four 15ml gin serves with ice, mixers, and paired chocolates. Bookings are recommended.
