The biennial FUSE Glass Prize returns to JamFactory, showcasing 18 finalists from across Australia and New Zealand. Since it began in 2016, the prize has become a significant platform for contemporary glass artists. The exhibition consists of 12 established and six emerging artists, including a strong showing from the local South Australian community.

Emerging finalists from South Australia include Bradley East, Bindi Nimmo and Isobel Waters. They are joined by established local artists Gabriella Bisetto, Nicholas Folland, Jessica Loughlin, Nick Mount and Janice Vitkovsky. The winner of the main prize receives $20,000 in cash. Additionally, the winner of the David Henshall Emerging Artist Prize receives $5000 and a professional development residency at JamFactory.

The works are on display in Gallery 1 until July 5, 2026. After the Adelaide season concludes, the exhibition will travel to the ANU School of Art and Design Gallery in Canberra. Whether looking at the technical precision of the established artists or the fresh perspectives of the emerging talent, the collection reflects the current state of glass practice in the region.
