Set in an airport terminal over the course of a night, would-be passengers and airport workers are stranded by a storm: two married couples, one trying to revive the romance and one expecting an arrival of their own, a stateless refugee, a lovelorn woman and two hot-blooded flight attendants are watched over by the ever-observant Controller and a relentless Immigration Officer. As they get to know each other and their lives intertwine, this surprising adventure will change them forever.

Performed in English, it’s the perfect first opera if you’ve always wanted to give this fabulous artform a go: hummable tunes, comedic moments, and relatable characters merge laugh-out-loud and heart-warming, thought-provoking and energising, zingy and poetic.
