Various locations across West Beach, Henley Beach, Grange and Semaphore
Free
Coastal Sounds returns for a 13km trail stretching from West Beach to Henley Beach, Grange and Semaphore. More than 30 South Australian artists will perform across 12 different locations during the day, spanning multiple genres and cultures.
The program includes live music, dance workshops and art experiences alongside activities specifically for children. While the daytime sets are held outdoors to make the most of the ocean views, the event moves inside to various coastal venues once the sun sets. These evening sessions focus on emerging original bands from the local scene.
Now in its fourth year, the festival is a free celebration of the state’s creative community. Family-friendly hubs are located at West Beach and Henley Beach, offering interactive art and performances for all ages. It is an opportunity to explore the western suburbs while supporting local musicians and performers on the June long weekend. Participants can follow the vibrant trail at their own pace to discover the various interactive art experiences on offer.
