Bastille Festival Adelaide returns to Festival Plaza from 28–31 May 2026 for its second edition, bringing four days of French food, wine, live music and culture to the heart of Adelaide, free to attend.

Foodies can discover iconic flavours from across France, including Provençal pissaladière, Burgundy garlic butter escargots, Bordeaux rum-infused canelés, Rhône Valley saucisson baguettes and raclette-filled Alpine baguettes. For those wanting the full tasting experience, the Food Passport offers a curated culinary journey across multiple French specialties and regions.

Wine lovers can explore premium wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, Provence and the Rhône Valley by the glass, while the Wine Passport invites guests on a guided tasting tour through some of France’s most celebrated wine regions.

For a more immersive experience, guests can enjoy the Wine & Cheese Feast, pairing French wines with cheeses imported directly from France and guided by a sommelier. The festival also features a Champagne High Tea with flowing bubbles and French pastries, plus Le Cinéma, an outdoor cinema experience screening beloved French films in original version with English subtitles.

Free entertainment includes cancan dancers, live bands, DJs and a special preview of Carmen in collaboration with the State Opera of South Australia.
