Backstage Pass: Live Events Careers Unplugged

Northern Sound System are hosting an open day to learn about careers in the live events industry. The career expo will feature organisations from across the state, with stalls, panels, workshops and more to learn about kickstarting your creative career.

Stallholders include Adelaide Festival Centre, Adelaide Fringe, Flinders University, Novatexh, GA Entertainment, The Gov, Festival City Adl and CityMag. There will be an industry panel and workshops on how to run your own gig and use AV Consoles.

Learn about the different jobs that exist behind the scenes of the music and events industry, including production, sound and lighting, marketing, event management, festivals, programming, education and more.

The career expo will run from 1pm ’til 4pm, followed by free live music in the Launch Pad, a neighbouring skate park, from 4pm ’til 5:30pm.

Northern Sound System is the City of Playford’s youth music and creative industry hub in the northern suburbs with recording studios, a music venue and more.

The event is free to attend, but you have to register for a ticket via Moshtix.
