Australian String Quartet with Julian Smiles

A special collaboration between the Australian String Quartet (ASQ) and lifetime member of the Goldner String Quartet, cellist Julian Smiles, at UKARIA Cultural Centre in the Adelaide Hills.

In this soulful program, American composer Samuel Adams’ third string quartet and Tchaikovsky’s Andante Cantabile precede Franz Schubert’s kaleidoscopic String Quintet in C. ASQ cellist Michael Dahlenburg reflects, ‘It is a true privilege to play a masterwork such as Schubert’s Quintet for two cellos.
