This October, Adelaide Film Festival brings new cinema to the big screen alongside filmmaker conversations, special events and nights that continue well beyond the credits.
AFF 2026 opens with the Australian Premiere of Wild Horse Nine, the new film from Martin McDonagh, starring John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Parker Posey and Tom Waits. See it at the Capri on Wednesday, October 14, then join the Opening Night Party at Queen’s Theatre for an evening of food, drinks and entertainment.
For a more intimate night at the cinema, Bedford Park screens at Palace Nova Eastend on Thursday, October 15. Stephanie Ahn’s debut feature follows two Korean Americans whose lives intersect after a car accident. Following the screening, Ahn joins Adelaide filmmaker Sophie Hyde (Jimpa, Animals) for an extended Q&A.
