Adelaide Film Festival is back 14-25 October, with new films to discover, big-screen premieres and plenty of reasons to make a night of it.
15 films from the AFF 2026 program are on sale now, ahead of the full program landing 15 September.
See Sandra Hüller in Paweł Pawlikowski’s Fatherland, Rami Malek in Ira Sachs’ 1980s New York drama The Man I Love, and Gemma Chan and Channing Tatum in Josephine, with Tatum delivering a career-best performance. The riotous French animation Jim Queen is your Saturday Night Party film, presented in partnership with Feast Festival. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to giggle and boogie the night away.
Four new AFF Investment Fund films are also in the mix, including Agata The Writer starring Mia Wasikowska, and Bojana Novakovic’s The Forbidden Aunt, which takes her from Hollywood to rural Serbia to the life of the eccentric, tormented aunt she was never allowed to know.
