2 February 2024

Come 5pm on the first Friday of every month, the Art Gallery of South Australia throws open its doors for a relaxed celebration of art and music.

First Fridays
5–9pm, 2 February 2024
AGSA, North Terrace
Adelaide 5000

This month, First Fridays: Animating the Landscape brings a Japanese influence thanks to AGSA’s Misty Mountain, Shining Moon exhibition.

Unwind with a drink, food from AGSA_eat, exhibition-inspired sounds and more.

Take to the courtyard as one of Adelaide’s most widely appreciated selectors, Fantastic Black Plastic, plays a set of Japanese inspired dance music. Later, enjoy the sensational sounds of Japanese tsugaru shamisen performer, composer and vocalist Noriko Tadano.

Drop in on a conversation with curators and Director Rhana Devenport ONZM as the AGSA 500 publication is revealed. Or book in for a hands-on workshop with artist Datsun Tran.
