Port Adelaide Enfield has teamed up with Tasting Australia to put some of its most unique and recent residents on the country’s culinary map.

Food@5085 will be a comprehensive food and cultural experience hosted by Rosa Matto in a picnic style setting in Stockade Botanical Park, a hidden gem in Northfield with a 12-metre tall waterfall.

Rosa has been showing people how to cook for 30 years and is a passionate advocate for South Australia and our produce.

“I love to show people the small places in South Australia that they might otherwise overlook,” says Rosa.

Food@5085 will have a traditional Kaurna welcome for the newest members of the Port Adelaide Enfield community – people from East Turkestan, Tatarstan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Syria, Iraq, Tibet, Kenya and Sierra Leone – who will then turn chefs for the day and lay out a sumptuous feast of truly new Australian cuisine.
