Haneen Martin of Zombie Queen Art & Consulting did a damned good job of putting on a zine swap. Over the last couple of years, she’s put on six.
Seven, though, if you count tonight’s zine swap AKA the last zine swap in Adelaide by Haneen Martin ever (actually, never say never).
Numero 7 is happening at The Jade from 6pm to 10pm. Swing by, grab a drink, support some grassroots makers, and buy a bunch of strange/cool looking zines.
But I don’t need a zine, you say.
Um, duh. But there are some reasons why you should, and they include:
- They make great birthday presents for your friends when you’re too poor to buy fancy birthday presents for your friends.
- Zines like a $2 investment into your local arts scene. Woman the fuck up, go without 2 frozen cokes and buy a god damned zine.
